Privacy Policy

Hippetys Softball Club ("we," "us," "the club") operates this app to help our members organise training sessions, games, socials and RSVPs. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are.

What we collect

Why we collect it

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose outside club organisation.

Where it's stored

Your data is stored with Supabase in the EU (Frankfurt region) and is protected by row-level security so members can only see content for their own team. Magic-link sign-in emails are sent via Resend.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while you're an active member. If you leave the club, your admin can delete your profile, which removes your personal information from the app. RSVPs older than 12 months are automatically deleted.

Cookies and tracking

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or social media pixels.

Terms of Use

Who can use this app

This app is for current members of Hippetys Softball Club. Access is invitation-only — your admin must assign you to a team before you see club-specific events.

Acceptable use

By using Hippetys, you agree not to:

Admins may remove your account if you breach these rules.

RSVPs and payments

RSVPs help admins plan but are not legally binding commitments. If an event requires a fee, the "Pay" button opens Revolut and records that you clicked it — but actual payment must still be verified by the admin in their Revolut transactions. The club's separate refund and attendance policies still apply.

No warranty

We provide this app as-is for the convenience of our members. We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. If something looks wrong, let your admin know.

Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be communicated to members through the app or via email before taking effect.
